Bath Academy is located in the centre of Bath on the edge of Queens Square.

S&J’s Company Owner Mr Shellard first met with Martin from Bath Academy in November 2021 providing a site visit followed up with a detailed proposal document for the works required. Martin reached out to S&J in June 2022 with a need for the works to be addressed at Bath Academy. S&J Roofing completed a Main Roof Renewal using Welsh Natural Slate tiles. S&J replaced the ridge tiles using the dry ridge system and the hips to be finished using the traditional Code 5 Lead detail dressed around a rolled mop stick.

S&J chose to use Welsh Natural Slate as the desired product as it is recognised as a quality roofing slate and will give you a roof that will last more than a lifetime! The aesthetic qualities of Welsh Slate are combined with the material’s natural durability and resistance to weather and temperature.
